My magpie has built a big wall of twigs up round the nest, so I can no longer see what's going on :( I suppose it'll teach me for being nosy.
My supervisor still hasn't contacted me about the stuff I sent him *checks* at the end of April. He told me at my paper that he would be in touch the next week (ie. last week), and I've heard nothing since.
Terrestrial TV had better start putting some better programming on in the evenings. I'm becoming way too familiar at Xtravision.
I looked up some details about the module course which I'll probably be teaching on next year, which is on eighteenth-century and Romantic literature. It's been a while since I did Romantic literature and I'm not familiar with Augustan/"long" eighteenth-century stuff. But I know more about it than I do about Modernist stuff, which has been mashed together in a module with Victorian literature. That's something else to distract me over the summer: read the set texts, skim some of the recommeded critical reading.
