Weather is insanely close and warm, even when it's cloudy. I want barbeques, picnics, trips to the beach and going to the park with friends, but I can't, cos I'm working, they're working and no one will organise anything!
I had a lovely week at home and really didn't want to bother coming back to Belfast >:( but I had to, so here I am. I became obsessed with puzzles while at home - codecrackers and kriss-krosses, stuff like that. I even began dreaming about them. Thankfully that's stopped now. I went on some bike rides too; my mother has become obsessed with getting me to exercise *is lazy*
I skimmed through my friends list. Hello you crazy people. Why didn't your lives stop while I was gone?! :P
So now, I have to get back to work bleugh. I did do some while I was at home, but not as regards my redrafting, which I wish I didn't have to do damnit so I could concentrate on my next chapter. I'm never gonna get the thesis finished by February. Uh uh, no way, not possible unless someone invents time travel between now and then. Oh well. I suppose it'll get done when it gets done. I've only got accommodation for one semester next year, and since my funding runs out in September, I can't afford to stay in Belfast much longer than that. So if I overrun, I'll just have to live at home and work. I hope I can do that because it's easy for me to laze around at home.
I've been informed that our fridge-freezer went off for 36 hours or something while I was away. I only had spread and cheese in it, but now I'm worrying about the chicken I'm currently defrosting for dinner tonight. If it smells bad, I'll just have to throw it out and buy more.
There should be more recycling facilities. All these recyclable plastic bags and cartons, glued magazines and single-sheet leaflets, and we can't put them in our blue bin and save the planet!
