Sep. 29th, 2004 10:18 amYesterday, I bought far too many CDs. I tell myself it's better to buy in bulk because it makes my student discount count more, because the more I spend, the more I get off, but I know I'm just being facetious.
(Ohmiword I just used "facetious" in a sentence! XD)
Yesterday was the Moon Festival in Taiwan, so Amanda was showing us pictures of mooncakes (moon-cakes? moon cakes? - I'm not sure how to lay it out in English), and her dog and family and other festivals in her home town, and she played us some Taiwanese songs. Taiwanese songs are cool, although they need to get away from plinky-plonky keyboards in the background. And they all seem to be sung by Aborigines o.O'
Leon got in touch (yay!) to say that he'll be more in touch later (boo!).
I finally got some help with my missing mobile phone money. I went to the O2 shop and the girl gave me a number to ring and I'm getting it sorted. I'm still pissed off at Centra, though, and also at the guy I got the first time I went to O2 - why the heck didn't he give me this phone number to begin with?!
