I got Nightmare Before Christmas last night. I hadn't seen it before so I was curious. I think I'll enjoy it better on a second watching, though.

1. What do you like or dislike about autumn? Eh. I don't have an opinion about any of the seasons. They happen, there's nothing you can do to stop them from happening, so you just get on with it. That said, I love peanuts and hazelnuts, which always appear around this time, and conkers are cool and shiny.

2. Have you raked leaves into a pile just to jump in them? No.

3. Have you ever carved a pumpkin and how did it turn out? I think we carved a turnip once when I was a kid. Pumpkins aren't as big a thing in Northern Ireland as in the US. I do remember a pumpkin being in our house on a recent Hallowe'en (last year? year before that?) but I have no clue what happened to it.

4. Have you ever eaten anything made from pumpkins other than pie? I've never even had the pie.

5. Where is a good spot to see the leaves change color where you live? Pretty much everywhere. Home-home is out in the country; we're surrounded by leafy things!
