I finished The Runes of the Earth in a marathon read last night *collapses* It was gooooooooooood. I love Linden! And I love the Ranyhyn!! I missed them so much in the Second Chronicles *hugs her big magic horses*
Be warned: sometimes his style can be pretty florid and he likes to use big obscure words. The dialogue of the people of the Land can seem stilted; you have to remember you're dealing with folk from another world so it stands to reason that they're not gonna have the same speech patterns. The philosophy can also be hard to grasp; I still haven't figured out what Covenant was talking about at the end of the Second Chronicles.
But if you can be ok with that and let him carry you away, well... :D It's a rush.
