Nov. 27th, 2006 11:36 amSo, what does one do when one has got through the PhD? One becomes very, very lazy. Or one does if one does not have teaching and essay marking (damn).
I'm currently sitting in my brother's house working on wireless internet and trying to watch Scrubs at the same time so forgive me if this comes out all tangled. I'm supposed to be teaching "Reactions to Lyrical Ballads" today. Oh the joy. Teaching the poetry is hard enough; teaching about the reactions is next to impossible. What are you supposed to do with a handful of contemporary reviews apart from saying, "Thingy said this, other Thingy said that, all done? Go home!" Last week I let all my classes out 15 minutes early cos I couldn't be bothered.
