Sketchy Sunday 5

This week, I decided not to draw any people but concentrate on objects, animals or just patterns of shapes.

Saturday/Sunday's is a bit of a hash; I was tired and had a stiff shoulder, and the fox's eyes ended up being in the middle of the big black line, which spoiled things >:/ I'm pretty pleased with Friday's landscape, although it's maybe a bit too busy to give a proper sense of perspective. Tuesday's stylised swans-and-stars and Thursday's party cake turned out better than I expected. But my real favourite this week is the lion's-head candlestick from Monday:

Again, if you want a larger version, just click on it and then twice on the magnifying glass icon in the bottom right corner.

Okay the book? Monday's is gorgeous I love it. Candlestick yes. ♥

love that it was all animals / stills/ shapes and patterns this week, you have discipline where I have none. :D

Love the symbolism behind Tuesday, the fun and color in Wednesday, the implied in Thursday, the depth in Friday and the feral brutality of the weekend. :D

This has been a tremendous idea. At some point I hope to see you leave behind the confines of the journal and just go batshit on a full blank sheet of paper. ♥ You're extremely creative and I enjoy your work!!

The open book on Monday is terrific. And I agree, your lion head candlestick is win! So much win. :D

Seriously adorable Tuesday with the swans. There was a squeal of delight.

So adoring the different shapes and all the colors of Wednesday. It looks like such a fun filled day.

Oh that cake! It looks scrumptious. I really like the slice of cake off to the side on Thursday. It looks so well done and the little details are fantastic. :D

I like Friday's scene. Very much get a sense of distance in it and I so adore the castle tower on the left.

*pretends the line isn't there for Saturday / Sunday* The fox has such a nice fluid movement going on. I like that quail he's holding in his mouth too! Really well done. :D
